Pedrazzoli MCL 120

Thanks to a very thorough design this new machine can cut round tubes up to 120 mm of diameter. Our long experience and Know-how in the cutting field have allowed us to create a machine featuring sturdiness, compactness and speed that make it suited for cutting light and heavy, low-resistance and high resistance sections. Among the main strong points we point out the machine’s most important features.

The automatic loader is very sturdy and it can bear up to 4 tons. The feeding speed is about 250 m per minute: this implies a great speed of movement; this cutting line can fit blades from a minimum diameter of 140 up to a maximum of 370 mm and the cutting speed can be adjusted in a wide range from 38 to 287 RPM. The automatic bar stop ensures precision also when it is necessary to rapidly change different cutting measures.

The sturdy patented discharge system quietly discharges the part and maintains the correct position of the piece after the cut and so makes it easier to attach this machine to other working units.

The control software, developed by our R&D department, assures great flexibility thanks to the possibility to modify, during the work cycle, the feeding speed, thrust torque and the cutting speed. This sofware helps the operator to choose the kind of blade to use, to optimise cutting length and to regulate cutting speed. The MCL 120 is a real work station that can be attached to Pedrazzoli’s optional units: deburring machines, collection units for cut part stacking and washing system to clean metal pieces.
